I believe the most important part of being a nanny would be to always make sure the kids have a safe and fun time. It's also important to make the children feel safe and free to be open/expressive with you.
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have too much experience with special needs children, but I have worked with/around autistic children before. It was not difficult for me and I was quick to learn about their individual needs. My older brother also has Cerebral Palsy , which has also given me experience with feeding tubes/pumps, medicines, and all around health expectations for such.
