As the second oldest of 8 siblings, I’ve had years of hands-on experience caring for children from newborns to pre-teens. I’ve helped with feeding, diaper changes, bath time, bedtime, and creating fun, engaging activities to keep them entertained. I've also babysat family members and friends where I was trusted to care for kids I wasn’t related to. I made sure they were safe, happy, and followed any routines the parents left. I’ve helped my siblings and other children with school assignments, reading, and staying focused especially helpful for kids who have trouble concentrating. I plan fun games, crafts, and movie nights to make babysitting something the kids look forward to. I also love Disney movies, so I bond easily with little ones over their favorite characters.I’m used to multitasking, like cleaning up after meals, cleaning up toys, and making sure the house stays calm and organized while watching kids.

To me, the most important part about being a nanny is making sure kids feel safe, loved, and comfortable while having fun. It’s not just about watching them—it’s about bonding with them, being someone they can trust, and creating a positive environment while their parents are away. I know how much kids look up to the people around them, so I always try to be kind, patient, and someone they enjoy being with.

One of my favorite moments was when I was babysitting my 3-year-old baby cousin for the first time. She was super shy at first, even though we’re family, I put on one of her favorite Disney movies, and when she got comfortable enough we started singing along together. We danced around, played games, and had the best time. By the end of the night, she didn’t want me to leave and I stayed another hour until she fell asleep, that really showed me how natural I am with kids and how much I love spending time with them.
