More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered at a daycare center throughout high-school [phone number hidden].. I also raised my younger siblings and I am also a student taking child development classes at Chaffee College. I have 5 years experience with two families I worked with long term. I would go at 4am-9am to wake up and help the kids get ready for school. I also helped out with their breakfast and made there lunch. Then I would drop them off. Another client i enjoyed helping out is a hardworking single mom who was also a student. I watched her twins and helped them with house keeping, homework, and to get ready for bed. I learned a lot working with these two lovely clients.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Helping with homework is my favorite because I always wanted to be a teacher. I like to stay active as well and walk the dogs if they had any while taking a trip to the park as a reward for doing light chores. I also taught them Spanish if requested. I also always bring coloring books and arts and crafts.

Making sure your a good role model and good influence. Caring for someone else's kids as if they were your.
My experience with special needs children...
My younger brother has autism so I learned a lot raising him and I am very understanding and patient. I like to bring different activities we can do to stay busy and to have fun at the same time. I like to make sure he/she is comfortable and happy at all times. My attention is 110% on them from the second I get there.

I remember how happy my clients kids would be to see me every morning when I would wake them up for school.
