Hey! I am from Idaho but have nannied in several different places. I was a professional live-in nanny in San Francisco and Denver. I was also a travel nanny and went with the family to New York, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard. I love all age groups. I have experience caring for multiple children at a time. I have cared for twin 5 month olds along with a 2 yr old and 5 yr old. I have also cared for other families with multiple children.

I am a Business Marketing major at BYUI. I am also working on a floral design certificate. I love oil painting, pottery, and any art really. I am very creative and that is why I love working with kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love thinking of fun games! I have learned that if you can’t get a child excited about the plan for the day then it’s not a good plan. Just the other I drew an entire town out of chalk on the sidewalks with the kids I cared for. I love making up obstacle courses, doing service activities, playing educational games, spending time outside, and really just figuring out the likes of the children I watch. That is one of the main purposes of caring for children. Figuring out what they like and making it more. I feel that it is so important to make the children feel comfortable enough that they share fun ideas as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is realizing that I am responsible for creating a safe and creative learning environment for a child and am trusted by the parents to do that. Even if that’s for a short time, it will impact the child. Being a nanny is a huge role and has to be filled by a responsible and trustworthy candidate.
