More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have several years of experience caring for children of all different ages, both in professional and personal settings. I’ve worked as a nanny and babysitter for families with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children, providing safe, nurturing, and engaging care. My responsibilities have included preparing meals, helping with homework, planning fun and educational activities, organizing playdates, assisting with bedtime routines, and transporting children to school and extracurricular activities. Along with childcare, I also take pride in keeping a clean and organized environment and am comfortable caring for pets as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning fun and engaging activities that help kids learn and grow. Some of my favorites include doing arts and crafts, reading stories, playing outside, going on walks, baking, building legos, while encouraging games that spark creativity. I also like helping with homework, coming up with educational activities, and encouraging imaginative play.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is being able to establish a bond between the child, learning their interests and truly becoming someone they trust and look up too! While making sure their safety and well-being is the first priority.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had the privilege of caring for children with autism, as well as having family members on the spectrum. This has given me a very personal understanding of the patience, love, and creativity it sometimes takes to support their needs. I’ve learned how important it is to celebrate small victories, keep routines that make them feel safe, and meet each child exactly where they’re at. Being part of their growth and seeing their unique personalities shine has been one of the most rewarding parts of my caregiving experience.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when the little boy I cared for asked if we could read the same book every night before bed. After a week, he started “reading” it back to me from memory with all the funny voices I had used. It was such a sweet reminder of how much children pick up on the little things and how special those routines can become:)
