My boyfriend and I babysit together while also both working full-time in a daycare. I (Izzy) primarily work with children ages 18 months–3 years, while my boyfriend (Chris) works with Pre-K children ages 4–5. Our daycare experience gives us hands-on experience caring for children at different ages and stages, and we’re comfortable creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for every child.

We love keeping kids engaged with a mix of fun, age-appropriate activities! We’ve enjoyed trips to parks, splash pads, and petting zoos, along with reading books, water play, coloring, crafts, and fun indoor games like hide-and-seek. We also love cozy movie nights, bedtime routines, and winding down with stories. We’re always happy to plan activities around each child’s interests! 💕

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of our favorite babysitting moments was taking the kiddos to the free petting zoo in Waterloo, right next to the Cattle Congress! 🐐🐑💕 We loved watching their faces light up as they got to see and interact with all the animals. It was such a fun little adventure and a great way to make special memories together!
