Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve done volunteer work for cheerleading companies with children from the ages of 5-14. For college I have gone into elementary schools were I was able to supervise some classrooms mostly of 1st graders- 5th grade and was able to make a connection with them. I have always been the care taker for my family. My youngest family member who I’ve taken care of is my little niece Avia and have been taking care of her since 3 months and she’s now going to be 3 years old in January.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a big Disney fan so I usually connect with children by singing karaoke of their favorite Disney movie or show, I love baking with children and teaching them that making mistakes is okay but learning from them is the most important part. Playing hide-n-go-seek.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love growing a connection with children, and just showing them the importance of things such as cleanup time, how to be gentle with animals, if they’re in the house, playground, etiquette, and how to be around other children, especially if they’re in the age group of not yet being very social with other children. Hopefully I can teach them things that they will remember even if it’s for a short period of time and overall make them happy!
