A little bit about me

Hello. I’m a widow, mother of 3 adult children, one of which is special needs. I also have 2 grandchildren, a stepdaughter and 2 step-grandchildren.
At the end of 2025 school year, I had driven a school bus for 3 years and it was my happy place. I’m currently working driving for a senior facility so I hold a Class C license driving a 2025 Pacifica van so plenty of room for children and groceries.
In my youth I took Early Childhood Education classes at KVCC, worked in a nursing home and a daycare.
In the many jobs I’ve enjoyed working over the years, cleaning houses, helping others, whether young or not so young, have been a great part of my life.
I am looking forward to building a relationship with a family in a meaningful way. Something more than only driving seniors, as much as I love them, to doctor appointments.
I miss the one on one I had with “my bus kids”. However I have to admit I don’t miss how long it takes for a school bus to warm up in the winter! Hope to meet soon.
