Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked in daycare facilities, preschool classrooms, and as a babysitter and a Nanny. I'm always trying to further my education and will do my own research on best practices for working with children. I took every childcare class in high school along with child psychology. I have gone to several ECE conferences and gained more knowledge and skills on how best to help children of all diversities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing science experiments and STEM activities. I plan great fine motor and gross motor activities. I thoroughly enjoy reading books and encourage children to explore reading as well. I have a great imagination and can come up with different and unique games in the spot. I enjoy teaching children how to play board games and card games and how to be a gracious winner and/or loser. I encourage children to be curious and ask questions about the world they live in. I also enjoy planning themed days with matching activities like a superhero day, or princess day, or holiday themed activities as well.
