My name is Jackie, I understand my appearance may be different from “traditional” Nannie’s but I've done lots of babysitting for roughly 9 years, I'm 23 years old and have cared for my nieces and nephews (17 of them) their ages from 19 years old the oldest and 6 months old the youngest and have helped take care of my 6-year-old cousin since birth. I work at a school district helping with special students (due to summer no school) I enjoy working with kids watching them grow and learn has always been interesting to me the way they see the world and explain it is amazing, I am currently subbing for Clovis Unified's Pre school and also with tutoring Fresno Unified's high schoolers. Indoor activities would be any video games if they have them, board games, coloring, a nap is always fun too, outdoor can be really anything I’m always willing to try new games even if the rules make no sense

My experience with special needs children...

So far I’ve worked with one special student that had slight speech impediment and trouble expressing their emotions or thoughts and it was difficult but working with them taught me that there’s always a way to get out what needs to be heard it takes some times but after finding that communication it becomes a bit easier
