I started working at the YMCA and Golds gym about 19 teaching swim lessons and coordinating children's fitness programs till I was about 28. I kept teaching swimming lessons till now here and there. I am also a mom of 2 girls. 4 and 8.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Charades, playing board games, painting, reading, coloring, crafts, kids movies, being silly and make believe (using your imagination is key), swimming, being outdoors and exploring, cooking, learning and teaching. Overall fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have children. First and foremost keeping them safe.
I believe it is like treating them like your own. Picking them up when they fall. Teach them something new. Be a ear to listen. And a new friend to explore with. It takes a village to raise a family!

As I said before I have not been a nanny. I have children and have watched many others little ones.
I truly love when their eyes spark with wonder when they learn something new or see something that they have never seen. We did spray paint with water gun's and made splatter pictures with 2 other children and my own. They had such a blast and felt like they accomplished so much and were in awe!
