I was a swim coach for a little over a year, teaching children from 5 months old to 12 years old how to swim safely And I was also a lifeguard, and I'm also a registered EMT in the State of Ohio. I have been a nanny for a few of families in the past. And I've babysat on numerous occasions for friends and family and former students.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy taking them to play Outside. Doing various physical activities such as riding bikes, playing sports, going to the playground or going for walks in the park. On rainy days or colder days, I like to do arts and crafts with them. And we try to be as creative as possible and try to encourage using their imagination. To make up games that everyone can play and have fun doing
My experience with special needs children...
I have been with special needs. Children, for most of my life, all ages and different disabilities. I grew up with a sibling that has a disability, and I also taught children who had disabilities. I don't treat them any differently. I cater to their needs but not to the point where they are being spoiled and babied.
