Some activities I enjoy doing with children include reading books, watching family-friendly movies, playing card games, arts and crafts, and drawing. I absolutely love drawing and enjoy encouraging children to be creative through coloring, painting, and other art projects. Since it's summer, I also love spending time swimming, playing outdoor games, going on walks, and finding fun ways to keep children active and engaged. I enjoy creating a positive, fun, and safe environment where children can learn, laugh, and make lasting memories.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. Building trust with both the children and their parents is essential. I believe a great nanny not only keeps children safe but also encourages their growth, creativity, confidence, and independence while providing consistent care and positive guidance.

My experience with children with special needs includes working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and providing in-home care for a child with autism for two years. Through these experiences, I have developed skills in behavior management, communication support, implementing individualized goals, and creating structured, positive environments. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and meeting each child where they are developmentally. My goal is always to help children feel safe, supported, and confident while encouraging their growth and independence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a child I cared for accomplish something they had been working hard on for a long time. Seeing their excitement and pride in themselves reminded me why I love working with children. Being able to support their growth, celebrate their achievements, and build a strong bond with them was incredibly rewarding. Moments like that make childcare so meaningful to me.
