More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve had the joy of working with two girls, ages 7 & 3. I engaged in creative play, crafts, and activities that supported their learning and emotional development. I encouraged problem-solving, fostered independence, and provided a calm environment so they felt heard and understood. My focus was nurturing their confidence, social skills, and love for learning through fun activities and daily engagement.
I worked with a bright 1-year-old girl, supporting her growth with sensory play, reading, coloring, and motor skill-building toys. With her ADD, we incorporated routines and activities to keep her engaged and support her development.
Currently, I nanny a sweet, loving 15-month-old boy full of curiosity and energy. Our days include reading, coloring, building blocks, and activities that support his development. I’ve had the joy of helping him transition into walking and encourage his confidence. I also manage his nap time, tidy his room, and handle light baby-related cleaning.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love finding ways to engage children in creative and meaningful activities.
With younger kiddos, I enjoy sensory play—things like reading together, coloring, water play, experimenting with different textures, building blocks, and other hands-on creative games like making their stuffed animals talk, or even just playing with their sensory-development toys. Watching them develop new skills and knowing I’m a part of that is a rewarding feeling.
With older kiddos, I love to get creative with them - drawing and other arts and crafts, baking or cooking while they stir the batter or season something, pretend play, singing their favorite songs, doing puzzles, or going on outdoor adventures. Whether it’s something that they’re learning from or building their confidence and creativity, I love that I’m a part of their growth.
I believe in fostering growth in the little moments, and seeing them learn about themselves, and thrive is one of the best parts about being a nanny!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe building a strong, loving connection with the child while actively supporting their developmental growth is my utmost priority as a nanny. It’s not just about caring for their basic needs but actively engaging with them to support their growth, whether it’s through play, learning activities, or simply being there to listen. I believe in providing consistent, nurturing care that promotes confidence, curiosity, and emotional well-being. It’s also important to build trust with the family, understanding their values and parenting style, so I can step in as a reliable support system, complementing their approach. I make sure to create an environment where the child feels safe, loved, and encouraged to explore, learn, and grow. I feel this is the base of having a positive atmosphere with the child and family alike.
My experience with special needs children...
While I don't have direct experience working with children with special needs, I have grown up surrounded by several adults with special needs, which has taught me a great deal about patience, empathy, and understanding different ways people express themselves and manage their emotions. Although it’s not the same as working with children, I believe these experiences have helped me develop valuable skills in communication and support that would be beneficial when working with children who have special needs. I’m confident that my background equips me to approach these situations with sensitivity and care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I decided to have a Christmas movie day with the 1-year-old boy I currently nanny, with the parent's permission. I made him a bottle of milk while I had a hot cup of coffee. I piled up all the blankets in his room and put on The Grinch. He curled up with me under the blankets and sat there through at least half of the movie before falling asleep in my arms. That moment marked when I realized that I was not only someone familiar to him, but he also felt safe and loved and I cherish that moment. When I told his mother she expressed great gratitude toward me for being a comfort to her, knowing that he’d always be safe with me.
