I’ve been a caregiver/nursing assistant for 2 years. I previously cared for a 5 year old child who had autism and was mostly non verbal. It was fun getting to spend time with them, play with toys and help teach them what I could. They learned to clean up, put on their shoes, socks and jacket, sit while eating, wash their hands, etc.
