The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is keeping every single child safe at all times. My experience so far as a nanny has taught me that there are much more than just keeping the kids safe. It is also important to providing a welcoming and comfortable environment while developing a sense of trust with the child and parents. Forming a bond with the child is extremely important as well. In able to create a nurturing environment, it is important to promote the wellbeing and development of the child 100% of the time.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for a family with special needs children. Aged 7 years old! I have also participated in several AYSO V.I.P events for special needs children where i had to provide care, keeping participation, entertain, supervise, and ect.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I wish i could upload the pics on this one! I enjoy letting children do my makeup, nails, play dress up, ect. A few days ago, I was watching over a 3 year old and letting her try to do my nails. Her work of art once she was finished was comedical, but the cutest! I had more polish on my hands than i did my nails!! But i made sure she knew she did an amazing job and shes only going to get better! :)
