A little bit about me

Hello! While my professional background has primarily been in retail and other customer-facing roles, I’ve had meaningful experiences that have sparked an interest in childcare. Most recently, I had the opportunity to supervise an arts and crafts workshop for a small group of campers at the Hartford stage summer program. While my love for costume design is strong, my favorite part of the job was working with the children, getting to know their personalities, and creating a creative space for them.
Additionally, I have a distant cousin in New York who is neurodivergent, and I’ve formed a special bond with her over our shared love for art.

Though these childcare experiences have been brief, they’ve shown me that I have a natural ability to connect with children in meaningful ways. I’m patient, empathetic, and creative, which I believe would allow me to bring out the best in children while ensuring they feel safe, supported, and entertained.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Not exactly a "nanny" moment, but more of a fun family experience this past Thanksgiving. It was a huge party and after eating everyone was tired. Most of the other cousins around my age were just on their phones or playing video games, but two of my younger cousins were super high energy and wanted to do karaoke downstairs. I went with them and helped pick out songs, we made up some fun dances, and blasted pop music, mainly Ariana Grande lol
