"Jaida is truly an amazing person, really a wonderful person to be around. She has been nothing but an amazing nanny to our son. She shows him so much love and nurturing and calm by nature. He smiles every time he sees her in the morning. Jaida is patient when he is fussy and works to create an environment where he can grow. She has been flexible and accommodating as we figure out our parenting style and responsive to our feedback on our preferences. She also gives us updates and guidance on what she witnesses about his preferences and habits. She diligently fills out our daily log so we can be kept abreast of his eating, sleeping, and diapers. She even frequently facetimes his grandparents who live out of town and are delighted to get see him and her. We know Jaida will keep him safe and be responsive to his needs, which gives us such peace of mind when we cannot be home. It’s been such a pleasure working with Jaida and we’re so happy she’s apart of our family."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Besides my work as a nanny, I also have worked in a Pediatric Office as a certified Medical Assistant. I cared for infants, children, and teens. I administered medication, drew blood, took vitals, addressed wound care, and performing laboratory testing.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy going on walks, going to the pool during the summer months, taking the children to see movies, playing games, doing puzzles, imaginary play is my favorite, going pumpkin/apple picking during the fall, encouraging babies to crawl and walk, showing children their colors and numbers, engaging in tummy/play time, and of course BAKING!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny for me is always being there for the children. I believe in supporting them through every stage as they grow, learn, and discover new things—making sure they always feel happy, safe, and understood.
Even on the days when they aren’t their happiest, I want them to know that it’s okay to feel what they’re feeling and that I’m there for them no matter what. That sense of emotional security is just as important as keeping them physically safe.
I also love staying in touch with the children I’ve cared for, even after transitioning to a new family. Maintaining that bond gives them a sense of familiarity and trust, and it’s so special to watch them grow and thrive over the years.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children was back in 2021, I started working with a family who had a baby girl that was born with clubfoot and only one kidney. During this time I would have to make sure I took off the brace to clean the baby’s foot every 6 hours. I also had to constantly check for wet diapers due to their daughter only having one kidney having a frequent wet diaper throughout the day was super important.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment has to be when I started working with a new family and their son didn’t seem to gravitate toward me right away, which wasn’t the norm for me. He would play with me, talk to me, bake with me, and do all the things we planned, but he just didn’t seem to be his usual happy self that I saw him be with his parents.
One day, after putting him down for his nap, I came downstairs to grab the monitor so I could listen out for him. I overheard him quietly talking to himself, so I paused to listen—and I’ll never forget what he said: “Please don’t go home, Ms. Jaida. I love you.”
It was the most amazing thing I’d ever heard. Up until that point, I’d started to worry that maybe I wasn’t who he needed, and it broke my heart to think he didn’t feel like himself when I was there. But from that day forward, everything changed. We became inseparable, truly the best of friends.
He was two then, now he’s five. We still talk and see each other often. 💛
