I have many years of experience, from babysitting my niece on a regular basis to nannying children for family friends. I have also assisted teachers in The John Archer school for special needs, grade 2nd. In addition I volunteer at Sunday school ages 2-3. I am in my last year of the nursing program at Harford Technical High School.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteer with Sunday school for ages 2-3 each weekend. Along with assisting teachers at the John Archer school for special needs. In addition I also babysit here and there for family friends.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor activities would be board games depending on the ages. Simple cooking experiences and arts and crafts. Along with games such as hide and seek. Outdoor activities that I enjoy would be going for walks, swimming, and sports with minimal physical contact.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I want to be able to help the growth and development of the future generation in any way I can. I believe that out future as a society is in the upcoming generation, and being able to positively influence them is essential.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for various types of special needs ranging from down syndrome to children in the autism spectrum. I have volunteered at a program call Sports for Life with my school. Along with a teacher assisting position that partnered with my nursing program.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was nannying for a family friend and we were all playing hide and seek and I was with the youngest child hiding. And as you know when you’re hiding sometimes you loose the ability to control your bladder and the child I was with had a little accident. It was funny because it reminded me of a time when I was that age and something like that also happened to me.
