More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I had some internships in high-school working with children and I was the arts and crafts leader for a church for 3 school years, working with children 3-4 years old. I also have worked in a daycare setting, on and off since high-school and after college.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy baking with children and doing arts and crafts and playing at the park. I am also learning sign language and Spanish, which I do not mind teaching children these new ways to communicate, as I am learning them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children with adhd, autism and speech delays, from 2/3 years old to 8 years old.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Two of my favorite memories were the ones where I was invited back to be a summer live in nanny and the time I was flown out to be a live in nanny for 2 months while the father of one family was doing work trainings. Both families were military and once they moved we stayed in contact and I had the best time visiting them and getting to be there live-ins. I would definitely travel again and help many of my families another time.
