A little bit about me

Hi there gentle reader! I am a mommy of 3 kiddos! 13, 3 and 15 months old :) my oldest has autism and adhd who was told would never speak or read but I told doctors don’t tell me what my Jesus can do He will show you! And my sweet guy can talk, read and loves math! My 3 year old just started preschool and she is advanced I spend a lot of time reading with my kiddos! My bouncy sassy 15 month old is a runner haha. I LOVE working with kids! I taught prek-1st grade Sunday school at my church and I managed 16-18 kiddos! I have a heart for special needs as I have worked with kiddos and adults with special needs and I am also a provider for the state of Ohio for my sister who has special needs. I advocate for my sweet son every single day as part of the autism community. I am a singer, a pianist and a cook and I would love to be a blessing to a family out there in need of someone who genuinely will care for your sweet kiddos.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having a loving heart for children. You cannot do this with only money in mind. Yes it is a blessing but you are carrying for someone’s child and they are entrusting you to care for them as you would your own if you are a mommy who has joy in being a mommy (which I do) I wanted to be a mommy since I was 5 years old and I prayed for that at that age. As a mommy myself when I leave my babies in the care of others I want a peace of mind knowing that they are happy, safe and protected.. that is what I want to give to other mamas, especially single moms because I am one too. I am blessed with an abundance of help and support and I want to bless that to another mama or family too.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a special needs son and sister. My son has non verbal autism, ADHD, anxiety, ocd and sensory challenges. My sister has hydrocephalus and a seizure disorder. I am a state certified independent provider for the state of Ohio for the Department of Developmental Disabilities. I have worked for special needs from kiddos to adults since I was a teenager. I have a special place in my heart for those with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I watched a sweet little girl who is caucasian and she said she wanted to be a chocolate princess just like me :)
