Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I value the art of imagination and creativity. I enjoy watching a child's face light up as they realize they created something. I enjoy painting, drawing, doing crafts, and kid's science experiments. I love getting them outdoors as much as possible. It is so easy to stay indoors on screens (believe me, I fall risk to this too). I enjoy exploring the world around us with them. Whether that be by going on a bike ride, a walk, to the park, or even just playing eye spy out the window. Children have such strong senses and imagination, the world that they can unlock when given the chance is incredible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a part of the child's/childrens emotional, mental, physical, and in many cases educational development and growth. I love being a member of a loving and hands-on care team. Providing a safe environment on both a physical and psychological level is what I few as the most basic of a nanny's job. As you review the hierarchy of needs you will see the way that I structure myself as a nanny. Primarily taking care of your child's physical needs, then moving to the psychosocial, and last but not least promoting self-expression and exploration.
