I was caring for a family friend’s child for the first time. He was to spend the night but he was sooooo shy. The little boy had fell asleep on the couch, I took him and tucked him in. He woke up in the middle of the night terrified, not knowing where he was. We went to the kitchen and sat while he drank some milk. He went back to sleep and the next morning he was glued to me and followed me everywhere. It was so sweet and awesome seeing the transition of stranger to him being so comfortable with me. He was so playful and loving! I loved every moment of it!
