More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as an Au Pair for a great family for over 2 years. I took care of their two boys ages 2 and 4 until they were 4 and 6 years old.

After that I was a nanny for a lovely family of a 2 year old and a baby boy. I worked for them for a little over a year before I unfortunately had to leave them due to my pregnancy.

My primary tasks included infant and toddler care such as changing diapers, feeding bottles, brushing teeth, and nap time. I was also responsible for light household duties, did the kid's laundry, prepared meals and snacks, drove them to school and/or activities and spend time with them playing board games, going outdoors or reading books.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me the most important part about being a nanny is to make a positive impact in the childs life, making sure they're happy and well taken care of. It's important to me, that the children see me as someone they feel safe and confident with, someone they can rely on and come to whenever they need to.

In addition to that, it's important to me, to have a strong and healthy communication with the parents to ensure a happy and satisfied environment for everyone.

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have any experience with special needs children, but I'm more than happy to learn and face that new responsibility.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Playing hide and seek with my two host kids, I was hiding in the bathtub behind the curtains and they were seeking. When they finally found me, they both were laughing so much and were so excited. I took a video of them in that exact moment and it's one of my favorite memories ever.
