Hi my name is Janae Dix I’m 20 years old and I’ve been working with kids since I was 13 and been in childcare centers and daycares since I was 17. I always love working with kids at such a young age. I’m going to get my CDA and hopefully in Gods plans I can open up my own daycare one day, I want to see kids shine because they’re the future and I was the kid that didn’t have much emotionally and family wise so I would like to kids to know that they can always feel needed and love when I take care of them. I've been working at daycares since I was 17 but I currently work at a daycare called Sweet Kiddles Flexible childcare center!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I looove blowing bubbles , coloring, doing arts and crafts are my favorite thing to do, I also love love to read and do fun storytelling like do impressions to make the book more alive!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me most about being a nanny/caregiver is I don't do it for the money. I do it for the love. I want to make sure every kid feels welcome and love once I take care of them I want them to know that they're safe with me no matter what. I want parents to know that their child is in a safe place. They're in a comfortable place when it comes to me taking care of them. And I would do anything to know I did my job right as a nanny. :)

My experience with special needs children...

I took care of a little kid before who had autism before. I don't have many experiences with it comes to special needs children but I know it takes a lot of patience and dedication and im willing to learn about it more!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My first nanny moment is when I taught a little boy how to take his first steps and showed it to his mom. It was most memorable and sweetest thing ever. And it was also her last baby so it was bittersweet but a perfect moment :)
