Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For two years I taught toddlers and young children how to swim at Leahi Swim School. (I could definitely teach your youngster a few useful safety tips around water that they’ll need, especially with living on an island). In college I nannied for three wonderful children for two years and up until the pandemic I worked with special needs kids at Waianae High School as an Educators Assistant.

I’m an arts and crafts fiend and love to help kids express their creativity through art. Physical activities are also an important and healthy way for children to release their energy and I encourage swimming activities as well as active games such as tag, hide and go seek, soccer, or baseball.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is understanding what the parents want for their child or children and ensuring the best care for them in a happy environment where not only the parents trust me but the children do as well.
My experience with special needs children...
I mainly worked with high school aged special needs children. But I was responsible and well versed in helping them eat, communicate, use the bathroom, administering meds, sticking to schedules, and teaching them healthy coping mechanism and developing/working on motor skills.
