More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Over the years, I’ve cared for children of all ages from newborns to early teens. My experience mostly comes from babysitting within my family and community, where I’ve handled everything from cooking meals, and bedtime routines to homework help, playtime, and outings. I’ve also supported parents by maintaining structure, following routines, and keeping children engaged in creative and educational activities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love anything that gets kids learning and laughing! Arts and crafts, outdoor play, baking simple treats, reading storybooks, and fun learning games are some of my favorite activities. I also enjoy helping with school projects or planning little themed days to keep things exciting and creative.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving environment where children can be themselves, grow, and have fun while parents feel at ease. It’s about being dependable, patient, and nurturing someone the child can trust and feel comfortable with, and someone parents know they can rely on.
My experience with special needs children...
While I don’t have professional training yet, I have experience being around and caring for children with different learning and developmental needs within my family. I approach every child with patience, compassion, and adaptability making sure they feel safe, understood, and supported in a way that fits them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was watching my 6-year-old niece discover her love for cooking. She started out just keeping me company in the kitchen, curious about everything I was doing. Before long, she was helping me stir sauces, measure ingredients, and taste-test our dinners. Her confidence grew with every meal, and soon she wanted to bake sweet treats right alongside me.
I’ll never forget the light in her eyes when she realized she could make something all on her own. Seeing her excitement as she decorated cupcakes or proudly served the family her homemade cookies melted my heart. What began as simple kitchen time turned into a beautiful bonding experience and reminded me why I love working with children watching them learn, grow, and light up with pride when they accomplish something new.
