More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have several years of experience caring for children in both personal and professional settings. As the middle child, I’ve played a big role in raising my three younger siblings—helping with daily routines, feeding, and emotional support. I also worked in a gym daycare for six months, where I cared for multiple children at once, kept them engaged, and ensured a safe, fun environment. In high school, I was placed in a special needs classroom as a student aide, where I supported children with different learning and developmental needs. These experiences have taught me patience, responsibility, and a real love for working with kids of all ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
• Reading books together – helping build language and imagination
• Creative play – using toys, dolls, or pretend games
• Arts and crafts – coloring, painting, or simple DIY projects
• Outdoor play – going on walks, playing at the park, or backyard games
• Music and movement – singing songs, dancing, or playing kid-safe music
• Sensory activities – like playdough, water play, or safe textures
• Tummy time & baby games (for infants) – helping with development in fun ways
• Simple learning games – letters, shapes, and colors through fun activities
• Helping with routines – like feeding, bath time, or nap wind-down with a calm story

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where the child feels secure and cared for. It’s not just about watching them. It’s about building trust, showing patience, and helping them grow emotionally, mentally, and socially. A great nanny becomes someone the child can rely on and the parents can trust completely.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments while caring for children was when a little girl I watched at the gym daycare had a tough time separating from her mom. Over time, I helped her feel safe and comfortable by playing gentle games and reading her favorite book. After a few days, she’d run straight to me with a big smile every time she came in. Seeing her build trust and feel happy in my care reminded me why I love working with kids—it’s the little bonds and progress that mean so much to me
