Hello I’m Jane Overholt! I am currently 14 years old but turning 15 in less than a month. I have babysat from ages 6 month old - 9 years old. I love being around kids and babysitting. My favorite thing is bringing crafts to make with the kids I babysit. I have been babysitting for 3 years and I am getting CPR and first Aid certified by the end of June. The most important part about being a nanny...

I love being a nanny because I love helping out. Being a nanny comes with so much trust and responsibility given to you, someone is trusting you with their child. I think the relationships you make with families you babysit for is like no other.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not cared for anyone with special needs, all though in class I do pay very close attention to my friend who has Down syndrome. I was given a reward for helping her though events throughout the year. She is so special to me. I have also paid attention to her assistants and how they help her.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when the 11 month old I was watching started babbling on and on for hours all day! It was so interesting to hear her try to create words.
