i believe it is being a communicator and partnering with the (child-toddlers). i treat them as equals because i know being heard and listened to is crucial to the journey to self-reflection and self-awareness. with that brings boundaries. i have the skills to understand what they need and they will understand with time how to factor in other's needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
when one of the boys i cared for gave me a card with my "favorite" pokemon cards. at the time the brothers were of the ages of 1,7, and 12. jaden(7) mentioned his love for pokemon and throughout that same week, he ended up giving me a card because of me leaving that weekend. little moments of acts of service and quality time from them really touch my heart. it's hard to leave and hear stories of them growing up. but even just that memory makes me smile. life is beautiful.
