Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I took a big roll in helping my own single mom with my non verbal younger brother over the course of 8 years. At some point over the course of aprox. 2/3 months I helped my single mother friend with her now 3 yr old son. Both situations my roles were: diaper changes, meals, and activities throughout the day! also helped with housecleaning which is never an issue.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Being outside! I love the zoo, parks, being around water ( lakes, beaches, pools ). I love the sunshine and love to take any opportunity i can to be outside. Inside activities I like to do are puzzles, playing with educational and positive stimulation toys. and i love to cook/eat!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I belive safety is the MOST important part. Being able to bond and love one another comes immediately after!
My experience with special needs children...
My brother is not diagnosed with any specific special need but is non verbal and delayed. I helped him a lot with his communication, it’s like we have our own language! Being able to learn about him everyday and learn something new is what makes me love him more. I also feel like this experience has helped me understand kids more, and want to be there for any other kid just the same!
