A little bit about me

I have many years of experience in various childcare settings. I have raised 3 kids of my own, and my last daughter is going into her sophomore year of college at University of Oregon. I am currently an instructional assistant in Transitional Kindergarten located in the town I live in. This is my third year in this position. Before that, I was a special education, instructional assistant. I helped students, grades K-5th, with meeting their IEP goals. I also was responsible for testing students in those same grades, with state mandated testing. I feel like I have a very unique ability to meet children where they’re at, and build confidence in their learning. I enjoy being able to spend my days, helping them achieve their goals and celebrate their accomplishments. I have worked in a child development center environment, on a few different military bases, in the past as well. I have always enjoyed working with children and believe I would be a great fit for the right family.
