Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked at a gymnastics gym in Woods cross for over a year and I absolutely love it! I interact with kids everyday, I help them when they need it, I make sure they’re hydrated and that their parents are aware of any injuries/concerns I have about their well-being and i just chat with them about how they’re doing and how they’re liking their class! I also have a little brother and I’ve been taking care of him his whole life:)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Picnics at the park, playing sports (I’m not very good but I’m totally willing to try), going on hikes, making slime, baking, playing board games/video games, swimming, watching movies, doing crafts, or filming fun music videos!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Just being there for the kiddos! I think being a nanny is so rewarding because you are their temporary guardian and while the parents are out it’s important to be responsible but also make sure they’re having a good time, that they feel safe and that they’re able to be themselves!
My experience with special needs children...
I volunteered for a special needs program when I was 9 or 10 for a while and I thought it was wonderful. There’s also a lot of kids with special needs at my current job that I interact with all the time.
