The most important part about being a nanny/babysitter is understanding that the children in your care should always be your first priority. Their safety, well-being, comfort, and happiness should guide the way you care for them. I believe a great nanny should be responsible and attentive while also creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and able to be themselves.

I have experience caring for children with special needs, and I understand the importance of patience, attentiveness, and flexibility. I enjoy getting to know each child individually and learning what makes them feel comfortable, supported, and understood. The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was being able to comfort a crying toddler by rocking them to sleep. It was such a sweet moment because they were initially upset and having a hard time settling down, but after holding and gently rocking them, they eventually calmed down and fell asleep in my arms. Moments like that remind me how important patience, comfort, and making a child feel safe can be.
