A little bit about me

I’m a 17-year-old college student looking for a fun and meaningful way to earn money while focusing on my studies. I’ve always loved being around little ones and would be so excited to help care for your child. While I don’t have a car yet, my mom is fully supportive and can drive me to and from your home whenever needed. I’m responsible, kind, and great with kids I’m a naturally bubbly and positive person, and I find so much happiness in keeping kids engaged, safe, and smiling. I would be honored to extend that same care and energy to other families as a nanny. I can cook and clean!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been caring for children since I was 9 years old, starting with helping to babysit my younger sister. By the age of 11, I became an aunt and began looking after my first nephew, and now I regularly care for all three of my nephews while my brother is at work.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m very artistic—I love coloring and anything that involves creativity and imagination. I also enjoy watching Bluey with my nephews and building blocks with them—it’s one of my favorite ways to spend time with kids and encourage learning through play!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving space for the child. Every child is different, so patience, understanding, and connection are key. I’ve cared for my younger sister and my nephews—including one with autism—and those experiences have taught me how important it is to really see and support each child for who they are. Whether it’s helping them learn new words, playing pretend, or just being a calm presence when they’re overwhelmed, I believe being a nanny means showing up with love, care, and consistency every day.

My experience with special needs children...

My first nephew, Josiah, was born with autism, and caring for him has taught me so much about patience, empathy, and understanding. His stimming doesn’t bother me at all—in fact, I’ve learned to recognize it as part of how he expresses himself. Even when I don’t fully understand what he’s trying to communicate, I always take the time to listen and help him in any way I can. Supporting him has made me more mindful, gentle, and adaptable in how I care for all children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I recently taught my 1-year-old nephew, Ja’vari, how to say my name and it was the cutest thing ever! Moments like that remind me just how much of a soft spot I have for babies. I genuinely love bonding with little ones and watching them grow and learn.

Hello everyone! I'm Elizabeth, a 2024 graduate of New Albany High School School! I am 18 years old and currently serving! I am 6/6 and an aunt of 8!

My favorite part of watching your littles is seeing how much they grow and blossom. The relationships I have with some of the kids I've babysat are truly special. My mom was the head manager of a "preschool/ daycare" when I was 3 and after that she has been a stay at home nanny ever since!

I was a volleyball player during grades 8th-11th and my favorite part was the kids camp watching their little eyes touching a ball!! Feel free to message me for any questions!!
