A little bit about me

i’ve been babysitting and nannying since i was 17 and i’m am now 23 an will be 24 in september ! im the baby of the family and have 3 older siblings. i love taking care of little ones i see it as fun and not a job, i seeing them grow and accomplish milestones is a blessing to witness while parents have to work im grateful to be able to be there for them in a time of need. in my family im know as the one to call on when you need anything just overall dependable .i recently took care of my own nephew when he was just 5months old up until he was 3 years old, after that i went on to professionally further work in child care by working at primrose schools specifically in young toddler 0-18 months and 3-4 yr old classrooms but soon after realized i prefer to work one on one with kids to better serve to their needs and wants as it is hard to do it with a class of 18. of course 2-4 kids is easier to handle and give my undivided attention too without feeling like someone is left out(:

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

being a teacher/assistant at primrose schools for infants and toddlers , i cared for 18 toddler kiddos in one class and about 6-8 infants under 12 months but overall would care for 1month - 4yr old kiddos in this school

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

digging for dinosaur fossils and finger painting/ coloring pictures for mom and dad

The most important part about being a nanny...

always being there, always be the helping hand and making sure everyone is fed clean and most importantly happy

My experience with special needs children...

i have a baby cousin that is on the spectrum and have dealt with kids with autism at the school i work at and i do my best ability to care for their needs and wants but would agree that someone more experienced in specific autism would benefit the child better
