I’ve been working as a paid nanny and babysitter for three years, mostly caring for infants and toddlers. I also have experience with children aged 3 to 10.
Most of my volunteer work has been abroad, where I’ve had incredible experiences helping people of all ages. I’ve volunteered at Akron Children’s Hospital and an animal sanctuary, and I look forward to returning soon.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
When babysitting, I tailor activities to the child’s age and interest. My favorite place to be is outside, where we can enjoy parks, picnics, walks, and swimming. I love engaging children in nature and encouraging physical activity.
For arts and crafts, I enjoy creating projects that engage in their interests. Arts and crafts are fun and also help develop fine motor skills!

The most important part about being a nanny...
On my very first day working with a new family, their infant, just a week old, surprised us all with an unforgettable moment during a diaper change. Without warning, the baby had a sudden blow out, which resulted in quite the mess, covering not just the changing table but also the surrounding area. It was an unexpected welcome to childcare, and while not exactly my favorite memory, it stands out as a memorable moment.
