More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I taught Wednesday workshops at Eastside elementary school twice a month for several years, this was usually a craft or art project. I also taught English to school aged children in Thailand for a year. I have frequently volunteered at my children’s schools and I worked in the preschool at South Eugene High School when I was a student there.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, having dance parties, reading books and playing games. I love to take walks, ride bikes, play at the park and do chalk and bubbles. Swimming and water play is a blast in the summer and stomping in puddles in the spring and winter. I like to cook and bake and love having little helpers in the kitchen.

It is important for me to build a positive and nurturing relationship with the children I work with, to be someone that they can trust, talk to, laugh with, cry with and get hugs and snuggles when needed.

I have experience with children on the autism spectrum, sensory behaviors, explosive personalities, ADHD and have attended many physical and mental therapy sessions.
