More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have provided care for several families in our community over the years. I have worked with large families during distance learning and managing therapies, extracurriculars, and busy loud households, and I have supported one kiddo at home, and everything in between. Additionally, I have taught locally providing workshops to elementary aged children, I’ve taught a full load of classes at a private school in Bangkok, and I’ve worked in a daycare setting.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, having dance parties, reading books and playing games. I love to take walks, ride bikes, play at the park and do chalk and bubbles. Swimming and water play is a blast in the summer and stomping in puddles in the spring and winter. I like to cook and bake and garden and l always enjoy having little helpers. I believe in getting dirty (when appropriate) and always aim to leave no trace of the messy fun that was had. I enjoy including the kids in cleanup and promoting responsibility and a sense of pride in a job well done.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It is important for me to build a positive and nurturing relationship with the children I work with, to be someone that they can trust, talk to, laugh with, cry with and get hugs and snuggles when needed.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with neurodivergent kiddos, and kids with differing abilities as well as kids with trauma and higher than typical needs. I have attended therapies with multiple kiddos in my care and worked our therapies into daily life. I have experienced the great joy in reaching milestones and these relationships hold a special place in my heart.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite times are our no shame, rocking dance parties, and working in the kitchen crafting goodies together.
