I am a part-time dancer, I love animals, crafts, movies, outdoors any type of physical activities that involve nature or going to the gym, and love to cook! I enjoy doing these hobbies even more with children, I hope to one day be able to take care of my future child and see a reflection of what I have
learned with young children. Organization is key for me, I work more comfortably knowing there is a step coming up right after I have completed the prior task. Some pros I would say I have is patience, flexibility, cleanliness, and caution. I am very outgoing, optimistic and open to be apart of something that helps out a functioning family. Love and passion is very important to me as a dancer and I personally believe it’s important to be able to understand any emotion a child is going through at a young age because that time is so vital, knowing the child’s likes and dislikes is very important to me as well!

I have had and currently am working on 5 years with a Dance Company and work with all ages of children. I have also worked for a special needs child daycare center.

Knowing I have built a stronger mind in the child than I did the day before and knowing the child is sleeping with all needs met for that day, their satisfaction is my satisfaction.

I have worked with children containing every common disability containing autism, down syndrome, ADD, ADHD, ST and OP and have loved every minute of it I have learned the most from this career through children with special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A child in my classroom struggled with pronouncing sentences much less being able to say words and one day after trying for weeks I asked him to say “may I please have some more fruit Ms.Jasmine” and he repeated it back so clear. I could see the joy on his face when he read my reaction to what he had just did we shared an amazing moment and it lit up my day.
