Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was an early childhood teacher. I have. I have worked with infants, toddlers, preschool, school-age children from pre-K to 5th grade. I also worked with middle school and high school a little bit too. I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I studied elementary education before switching, so I work very well with elementary children. I am very good with SPED children as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing games with children, helping them build confidence through structured lessons and teachable moments, and creating fun, engaging learning experiences. I also love going on outdoor adventures with them, encouraging exploration, teamwork, and curiosity while making learning enjoyable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is building a genuine bond with the children and becoming someone they feel safe, comfortable, and happy around. I love watching children grow, celebrating their little milestones, and being there to encourage them through both the fun moments and the challenging ones. Knowing I can make a positive impact on a child's life while giving parents peace of mind is what makes the role so meaningful to me.

Through my Special Education minor and my experience as a preschool teacher, I have developed the knowledge and skills to support children with diverse learning and developmental needs. I have experience adapting lessons and activities to meet individual abilities, using positive behavior management strategies, creating inclusive learning environments, and working patiently to help each child succeed. I understand the importance of meeting children where they are, building their confidence, and collaborating with families and other educators to support their growth.
