I use to babysit all the time back in high school; I have work experience at The Little Gym where I taught infants-grade school gymnastics and social skills. I now also have a 7 month old son who I am teaching and doing crafts and activities with!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some Indoor activities include playing and letting children explore their imaginations, non-messy finger painting, and coloring. As far as outside activities go, I think it’s always good to get some fresh air whether it’s taking a walk, playing sports, going to the park, or just simply being out and about!
My experience with special needs children...
At The Little Gym I have worked with children with Autism. I feel the most important thing is to have patience and treat them with kindness. Let them know that they are wonderful in every way !
