Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a special needs vbs for my church and also did regular sunday school. I have babysat since I was 15 years old and have babysat all ages. I also have helped out in children summer camps for my old highschool.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing sports and doing crafts. I love playing hair and makeup with the girls and video games and cars with the guys! I love to do anything that they want to play!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The thing that matters most to me is making sure that the kids are feeling comfortable and happy! It can be hard to be away from mom and dad and I always want to make sure that they feel safe even with them not around! I also think interacting and being attentive with the children is very important as well!

My experience with special needs children...

I am pretty experienced with special needs. My youngest brother is special needs and my mom has worked with special needs adults and children at easter seals for many years before she moved into OT in her new job. I know it can be stressful and hard to trust someone with your child or teenager who has special needs so I totally understand all that goes into it!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I did a little girls makeup for her birthday party and her mom sent me a text telling me that it made her feel extra special for her party and I thought it was super sweet!
