More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a teacher aide at my school, I have three siblings who I care for, I babysit my cousins (ages 7 months-11 years) 5 days a week and have been doing this since I was 15! I also had the opportunity to teach vacation bible school for Kindergarteners:)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
As a nanny, I love keeping things fun and creative with the kids. We build forts, dance, bake, do crafts, and go on little adventures outside. Whether we’re reading, pretending, or just being silly, I always focus on making them feel safe, happy, and heard:)
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is really about building strong, trusting relationships with the kids you care for. It's important to create a warm, supportive environment where they feel safe to grow and learn. Having fun and playing together isn’t just enjoyable it’s also a great way to bond and help them learn new things. You’re also a role model, so the way you act helps shape their values. Staying in good communication with parents makes sure everyone’s on the same page. And since every day can bring something new, being patient and flexible really helps. In the end, being a nanny means offering care, support, guidance and making sure there’s lots of fun along the way.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have any experience yet but I am eager to learn and provide the best care possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was helping my little cousin get ready for a nap, and she wanted to put me to bed instead. She tucked me in, gave me her favorite stuffed animal, and whispered, “Don’t be scared, I’ll be right here.” Then she sat beside me and started singing a lullaby completely out of tune but with so much heart. I pretended to fall asleep, and she whispered, “Good job, you're doing great!” It was the cutest thing ever, holding back my laughter was very hard haha!

Hi! My name is Minaa. I’m 19 years old and a student at Northern Arizona University (NAU), where I’m studying Criminal Justice with minors in Law and Forensics.
I grew up in a family of 14, so caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. I began babysitting at 12 and have loved helping kids learn, play, and feel safe ever since.
