The most important part about being a nanny...
To positively impact a child’s growth and development by providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can learn, explore, and thrive.
My experience with special needs children...
I have hands-on experience caring for children with special needs, including twin boys on the autism spectrum. I supported their daily routines, helped with sensory and behavioral needs, encouraged communication and social skills, and created a structured, calm environment tailored to their unique needs. I learned to be patient, observant, and adaptable, ensuring each child felt safe, understood, and supported while still having fun and engaging activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my current favorite moments as a nanny was when I successfully guided one of the children I care for through potty training. She insisted on doing it independently, and with gentle support and encouragement, she was able to use the potty on her own. It was incredibly rewarding to witness her confidence and sense of accomplishment, and it reminded me of the importance of patience, encouragement, and celebrating each child’s milestones.
