More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have several years of experience working with children in different settings. I currently work as a Special Needs Coach at Christ Church of the Valley, where I support children by teaching boundaries, encouraging positive behavior, and communicating in ways that meet each child’s individual needs. This role has strengthened my patience, empathy, and ability to stay calm and supportive in all situations. I have also been babysitting since 2022, where I’ve developed strong problem-solving skills, handled conflicts appropriately, and served as a positive role model for the children in my care. In addition, I work as a certified soccer referee, managing groups of up to 24 children at a time while ensuring safety, clear communication, and structure in fast-paced environments.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing fun and engaging activities with kids such as arts and crafts, playing games, reading books together, helping with homework, playing sports like soccer, going outside to play, creating routines, and encouraging creativity and positive behavior through interactive learning.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a babysitter is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. It’s about being patient, attentive, and reliable while making sure kids feel heard and valued.
My experience with special needs children...
I have hands-on experience working with children with special needs through my role as a Special Needs Coach at Christ Church of the Valley. In this position, I support children by helping them understand boundaries, communicate effectively in ways that work best for them, and feel safe and included. I have learned to be patient, flexible, and attentive to each child’s individual needs, adapting my approach to support their emotional, social, and behavioral development. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where every child feels understood and valued.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite babysitting moments was when a child I was caring for was having a really hard day and feeling overwhelmed. I took the time to sit with them, listen, and help them calm down, and by the end of the day they were smiling and laughing again. Seeing how a little patience, understanding, and care can completely change a child’s mood reminded me why I love working with kids.
