A little bit about me

My name is Jayme Deville/Jones, recently married! I am one of eight kids that grew up in a conservative home in SETX. I am a believer in Jesus and follow as close to him as I can, because of that relationship I love children and love investing in them, I have the kids say yes ma'am and no ma'am and do expect obedience when they are asked to do something. I ask for respect from the parents and the kids and I will gladly give it in return. I graduated from university in May 2020. I spent a lot of my college years traveling and doing study abroad trips. I have worked as a substitute teacher, I am a full time photographer but this only would interfere on weekends or weeknights. I have worked with kids for over 12 years and have over 30 families I have cared for personally. I have tutored, cleaned, cooked, gone to sport events, planned birthday parties, and more. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a substitute teacher, child care worker in a church, and preschool teacher for 3 years. I also helped lead youth at a church and youth in the 4-H program on several different projects. As a photographer, I am use to working with families as well!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love the great outdoors! I grew up running around barefoot in the woods and I think it is so good for kids and growth to be outside! So if it is sunny that's where we will be! I don't mind getting messy for a few extra laughs with the kids! I love playing sports, doing art projects (got my degree in studio art), and anything to keep them off the tv or devices!

My experience with special needs children...

I do not. have a ton of experience however I worked as a special needs aid in elementary-highschool and I also worked at a summer camp called mission possible for children with special needs, We got to act as their care giver for 3 days at a time doing everything with them. I also have a nephew with special needs so they are near and dear to my heart!

The most important part about being a nanny...

There are so many sweet moments and funny ones because kids say the darnedest things! One time I had just arrived at a house and the kids met me at the door saying they needed me to jump in the pool with them and it was an "emergency" so I had to do it with my clothes on, naturally we all ran and jumped in and laughed so hard and had the best time! I later changed into the moms clothes (thankful for her and letting me borrow her clothes while mine got clean), such a sweet fun memory!
