My experience with special needs children...

I have a younger brother who is non-verbal and has AUTS-2 syndrome, which is a rare genetic condition (there's only around 100 people diagnosed with this worldwide). Living with him has taught me patience, and to be attentive at all times. He has a feeding tube, so I also have experience feeding children that way. Additionally, I was a teachers assistant for a special needs classroom, so I have additional experience working with and teaching students with different disabilities. It has taught me to be patient and to keep open communication! This is my most important rule.
