Hi, I'm Jazmin! I'm a 27-year old preschool teacher who is transitioning out of the classroom. I have over 6+ years of experience working with children, more specifically providing a language immersion, play-based environment for toddlers. I have taught in an affluent NYC private school for over 5 years as a head teacher, primarily working with 2 and 3 year olds and I have a robust knowledge of early childhood development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy gross motor play (children need to move their bodies in a fun and safe capacity!) and playing games that target this development.

I also enjoy engaging children in sensory based play - making slime, homemade playdough, playing with water and bubbles, etc!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I firmly believe children need to be respected and allowed to lead themselves whilst we as the adults provide a safe and emotionally regulated capacity to do so.
