Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Lots of family and taking care of neighbors and friends children. I also volunteered at church events where I would watch over another of children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love crafting, drawing, painting, playing outside, going on walks, talking, baking, cooking, playing games such as hide and seek, tag, typical kid games. I've let children do my makeup before. I love doing holiday activities, taking children or adolescents to parks or stores so they can get a breath of fresh air.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Children need connections in their life, and with the world becoming darker and more riddled with evil I think it's so important that the least we do is protect the kids, they are the future generations and if we as young adults and older adults don't do our part to teach them and show them what's important, it adds to the despair in the world and damages the children. Kids don't need an iPad, they need friends and memories. It's the best thing we can give them right now and show them that there is still love in a world full of such hate. That there is still wisdom in a world of fools. Children are easy believers and its so important that we display good morals and put the right people in their lives to ensure a better chance of them becoming happy and successful. We have to at least try our best to protect then.

My experience with special needs children...

I've cared for my brother with down syndrome for a majority of my life, I've watched over many cousins with mild and severe autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was taking care of 2 young girls around the ages of 7-9 and they decided to make me do dress up and they did my makeup and hair and they put a mermaid blanket on me and told me I was a model and they both grabbed my arm and drug me to the living room to show their parents the makeover they were so proud of and they told me to do the mermaid dance (where I would spin in circles and pretend I was swimming) and seeing them happy just warmed my heart. The makeup was hard to get off but it was worth it to see them so happy.
