The most important part about being a nanny...
Is about the bond with the children. They need to trust you and trust that when and if they need to learn or be taught how to improve, that you are saying it for their own good. I believe the lessons and laughs you provide to the kids is the most important part! Apart from of course keeping them safe and healthy!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a younger brother who is working through his challenges which I rather not talk about but I’ve been there for him all along the way. I’ve also taken care of another little boy who’s 3 and it was the best time!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Probably was when I was baking brownies with the kids and one of them drops the mix. They all immediately jump to cleaning up (I love to practice cleaning up) and I pause for a second and say you can laugh before cleaning. And we all started chuckling so loud. There was brownie batter all over my face, and some other children as well. I have so many more great moments but when I read the prompt, this one came to mind.
